Trevally fish curry ( gulai ikan kue )

my first experiment to mix this fish curry from 3 different countries, indonesia, thailand and india and i loved it !
Indonesian
Bahan – bahan :
Ikan kue
4 siung bawang merah
3 siung bawang Putih
2 batang sereh di keprek
3 daun Salam
1 cm jahe di keprek
1 cm Laos di keprek
1 ruas jari telunjuk kunyit
1 sdt asam
1 jeruk nipis
3 cabe rawit
Minyak sayur
400 gr santan
Garam dan gula secukupnya

Cara membuat :
Ikan di bersihkan dan di lumuri perasan jeruk nipis dan garam dan biarkan minimum 15 menit
Sementara halus kan bawang merah, bawang Putih, kunyit, garam dan gula dan cabe rawit
Panas kan Minyak dan Tumis bumbu halus 3 menit dan masukan sereh, daun Salam, jahe dan Laos kemudian Tumis hingga harum dan masukan ikan, biarkan 1-2 menit dan siram dengan santan , bila terlalu kental bisa di tambah sedikit air matang, masukan air Asam dan sambil di cicipi Tambahkan gula dan garam , biarkan hingga ikan matang dan sajikan dengan daun ketumbar di atas nya dan nasi hangat

White trevally fish
4 cloves shallots
3 cloves garlics
2 lemon grass crushed
3 bay leaves
1 cm ginger crushed
1 cm Galangal crushed
1 index finger size fresh turmeric
1 tsp tamarind
1 lime
3 bird chillies
Vegetable oul
400 g coconut milk
Salt and sugar

how to make :
Clean the fish and rub the fish and marinate with lime juice and bit of salt and leave it minimum 15 mins
Meanwhile pound he shallots, garlics, turmeric bit of salt and sugar and bird chillies then set aside
Heat the oil and sauté the pounded paste for 3 mins and add the lemon grass, galangal, ginger, and bay leaves and sauté till fragrant then you can put the fish and leave till 1-2 mins both side, then pour the coconut milk, if the coconut milk is too thick you can add bit of cooked water then add the tamarind juice , and seasoning with salt and sugar if you like, leave till the fish is cook and serve it with coriander leaves on top and steam rice
